Quality

QUALITY BUILT INTO EVERY STAGE.

Inspection that sits inside the process, and records that can answer a question about a shipment months after it left.

Quality management

A defect found late is expensive. Found early it is just a correction.

Our quality approach is organised around that difference. Acceptance points sit at the end of each production stage, so a problem is caught while it can still be fixed rather than at final inspection when the only option left is to scrap the unit.

What gets checked

Inspection and product consistency

Checks are functional wherever a functional test exists.

Dimensional
Working dimensions verified against the pattern reference held for that instrument.
Functional
Closed, gripped or loaded the way it will be used — the check that catches what measurement misses.
Surface
Finish and edge condition examined under magnification.
Consistency
Units compared across a lot, not only assessed individually.

Documentation

Written down at the time

Inspection results, production references and shipment details are recorded as the work happens. When a partner asks about a lot they received last year, the answer comes from a record.

Document formats required for a specific market are agreed with the partner before the first shipment rather than improvised afterwards.
